Parents and Students,

I hope you are having a wonderful Labor Day Weekend! At the end of this week, we will be halfway through the first grading period. Students, please check your grades via Skyward regularly to ensure you stay on top of assignments, projects, and tests.

COUNSELING CORNER

All students:

If you want to meet with your counselor, please remember to complete the REQUEST TO SEE COUNSELOR FORM. Counselors will call students down within 2 school days.
- Did you know that we have a “Care Closet”? Any student needing basic care items (soap, toothpaste/brushes, deodorant, school supplies, etc) can check the box on the form, and your counselor will call you down so you can look through the items.

Seniors:

Remember to check the SCHOLARSHIP PAGE frequently! We are constantly adding new scholarships we learn about! It is quiet right now, but as the year progresses, more will be added!
Are you interested in attending IU Bloomington next fall? Please see the email from Mrs. Grimm (sent 8/19, 8/26, 8/30) titled Scholarship opportunity - IU Wells Scholarship Program. The deadline is September 3rd.
Beginning in late August/early September, counselors will meet with each senior individually for their senior meeting. This is a formal meeting to discuss their credits, post-secondary plans, and the next steps they need to take.

Juniors & Seniors:

College Rep visits are starting soon! Please be on the lookout for sign-up info from Ms. Roach. You can see a list of upcoming visits HERE. We are frequently adding more, so make sure to check back often!
- Beginning in the 24-25 school year, all juniors and seniors must meet with a college or business as a part of a Career Discovery Meeting. Meeting with a College Rep will check that box off for you!
