Welcome to Mt. Vernon High School, home of the Marauders! 

I would like to personally welcome you to Mt. Vernon High School!  MVHS has a long history of excellence and has been recognized as one of the best schools in the state of Indiana in providing a well-rounded educational experience for our students.  Mt. Vernon High School offers a wide range of academic programs, clubs, activities, and athletic teams to meet the needs and interests of our students.  

Students at MVHS will be challenged to achieve at their highest levels. The staff at Mt. Vernon High School sets high expectations for students in their coursework, their behavior, and their work ethic. We strive to teach students to learn to advocate for themselves, be more self-sufficient as they progress through high school, and take responsibility upon themselves for their journey through high school. Our goal is to prepare students to have many great successes once they graduate from Mt. Vernon High School. We look forward to celebrating our students' success as they represent Mt. Vernon High School during their high school careers and beyond.
