Innovation through Engineering at Marian University- Summer Camp

Summer Honors Program and Makers Week at Indiana State

Indiana State has two summer opportunities this year through our Summer Honors Program and Makers Week. Summer Honors and Makers Week are programs for high school students graduating in 2025 or 2026 and will be held July 14th - 20th, 2024 on the campus of Indiana State University.

Students can explore an academic interest in a seminar and earn University credit through college-level course work. Students experience living in a residence hall and enjoy campus life activities in the evenings.

The Summer Honors 2024 program fee is $425*. This includes all meals, housing, seminar books and supplies, and seminar-sponsored activities. There are scholarship opportunities awarded on a first-come, first-served basis for those participating in the 21st Century Scholar program or students eligible for Free and Reduced Lunch to cover the entire cost of the program. 

Students should apply by June 7th. 


Interior Design Workshop for High School Students at Ball State University

Choose from one online and two on-campus sessions for summer 2024.

Online sessions:  June 10- July 5; Fee is $800

On-campus sessions:  A ten-day residential stay at Ball State University:  June 2-11; June 16-25; or June 28- July 7.  Fee is $1450.

Flight Path to Teaching Adventure

A free summer workshop for high school juniors and seniors who are interested in teaching as a career.  Gain valuable experience and build leadership skills while spending a week living in a residence hall on the beautiful Ball State University campus.

University of Findlay Pharmacy Summer Camp

Pharmacy Summer Camp is an overnight camp open to any high school student who will be either a junior or senior in high school in the fall of 2024. Our four-day three-night experience on campus gives students an opportunity to stay in a dorm and engage in hands-on activities with our esteemed pharmacy students and faculty. Students can choose to register for either June 9th-12th or June 23rd-26th, 2024 with an Early-bird DISCOUNT using this Registration Link.

University of Findlay Spring Pharmacy Camp

V.I.P.Day is open to current freshmen, sophomores, and juniors (and seniors if they are still exploring their options) who are dedicated to academics, have an aptitude for science and math, and are considering a career in healthcare. This one-day event provides students with a unique chance to explore the exciting world of pharmacy.

Butler's Pharmacy Camp

Butler University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences will be hosting a Pharmacy Camp this summer from Tuesday, June 25 through Friday, June 28, 2024, 8:30am-4:00pm each day.

The camp is open to high schools students entering the 10th, 11th, or 12th grades in the fall of 2024.  Students will gain an understanding of medication therapy in today’s healthcare environment and explore the role of the pharmacist in contemporary healthcare. There will also be an introduction of the many career paths in pharmacy, including ambulatory and acute patient care, drug compounding, pharmaceutical research, and more!

Camp activities include:

  • Preparing pharmaceutical products in a compounding lab and a clean room.
  • Practicing clinical assessment techniques such as taking a blood pressure.
  • Hands-on learning experiences designed to help students understand the many roles pharmacists play on patient care teams.
  • Meeting and interacting with current pharmacists from a variety of different practice areas.

When: Tuesday, June 25–Friday, June 28, 2024, 8:30am (check-in) - 4:00pm each day

Who: High school students—10th, 11th, or 12th grades in the fall of 2024

Registration Fee: $200*   Fee includes lunch and snacks for each day, a camp T-shirt, transportation for field trip, and camp project supplies.
Campers will be supervised by College of Pharmacy and Health Science faculty and staff during all activities.

Performing Arts Camp

Summer TUTTI Performing Arts Camp at Denison University offers talented high school students studying music, dance, theatre, and musical theatre a chance to deepen their skills while collaborating with professional artists, ensembles, and peers from across the country.  

  Summer UTTI is open to student who will be rising sophomores, juniors, or seniors (ages 15 to 18) by the time the program starts in June. 

Camp is June 22-30, 2024.  Applications open in December, 2023.  Complete applications must be submitted no later than March 1, 2024.
