TUBC Scholarship
The Tricoci University offers a scholarship opportunity for recent high school graduates. One applicant per Tricoci University campus will be rewarded $3,500 to help fund their Tricoci education and come closer to becoming a licensed professional in the beauty industry. Application deadline is no later than 11:59pm CT on March 31, 2025. Winners will be announced on May 1, 2025.
Summit Salon Academy “Get Inspire” Scholarship
Students planning a career in the beauty industry can apply for scholarships at Summit Academy that would cover $3000 of your tution. Applications are due by April 30, 2024 and are awarded for the July 14, 2025 Cosmetology Course.

The Community Foundation of Hancock County Scholarships
The CFHC Scholarships are LIVE! Don't wait to apply! The deadline to apply and have all materials submitted is February 7th, 2025 at 4pm. (You must add your counselor to your account. Counselors will add GPA's once 2nd quarter grades are finalized in January).

Foundation 649 Scholarship for AAPI
Asian American and Pacific Islander students are eligible to apply to this scholarship. Five recipients will be announced by April 15, 2025 and each recipient will receive $1000 annually for 4 years. The award must be renewed each year to receive successive funds.

Next Generation Hoosier Educators Scholarship
The Indiana Commission for Higher Education is accepting applications for this scholarship which provides up to $40,000 of financial support for aspiring teachers.
High-achieving high school students who plan to teach in Indiana for at least five years can receive up to $10,000 per year of college (up to $40,000 total) from the scholarship. Find additional requirements here. Priority will be given to students graduating high school, although current college freshmen and sophomore students are eligible to apply.
Applications are submitted through ScholarTrack and will be accepted until January 31, 2025. To access the application, follow these steps:
1. Log in to ScholarTrack
2. Click “State Aid Resources”
3. Select “Apply for State Aid”
4. Scroll down and click “Financial Aid for Future Educators”
5. Select “Next Generation Hoosier Educators Scholarship”
6. Click “Apply”

Knight of Pythias Scholarship
Seniors with a 3.0 or higher may apply for this scholarship and there are 30- $1,000 scholarships available! For more information about the Indiana Knights of Pythias, please see their website here. Hagan Scholarship Foundation
The Hagan Scholarship is a nationwide need-based merit scholarship for high achieving, goal-driven students. The goal of the scholarship is to help students with financial need graduate college debt-free. Application deadline is December 1, 2024.

Jackie Robinson Foundation Scholarship
JRF Scholars receive grants of up to $35,000 over four years to supplement the financial aid they receive from their colleges or universities. In addition, Scholars receive extensive support services, including career guidance and internship placement, and attend JRF's annual multi-day "Mentoring and Leadership Conference." Applications are due by 5pm on January 9, 2025.

INACAC Scholarship
The Indiana Association for College Admission Counseling is proud to announce applications for 2025-2026 scholarship are now being accepted through January 10, 2025. Jack and Bev Falkenberg Memorial Scholarship
The Falkenbergs were huge supporters of Mt. Vernon students for nearly 48 years. Their sons and daughter set up a scholarship in memory of Jack and Bev in 2022. A winner will be awarded a one-time $1000 scholarship. This scholarship application is due by Monday, December 16, 2024 and should be emailed to dean.falkenberg@mvcsc.k12.in.us.

Louie's Tux Shop Model Search Scholarship
Louie's Tux Shop will be sponsoring their 12th annual statewide Model Search this fall. They bring together a local cast comprising of twenty (20) students and at the completion of the shoot, two students will receive a $1,000.00 college scholarship. Ten students will be chosen by their peers along with another 10 students that will be chosen by a selection committee. All photo shoot participants will be featured in our prom promotions in the spring and all students have an equal chance at winning scholarships.

Anderson University Visit Scholarship
Students who schedule an official on-campus visit with an admissions counselor and then enroll as a full-time student will receive $1,000 per year for four years.
Nancy Jaynes Memorial Scholarship
Indiana Breast Cancer Awareness Trust, Inc. is currently accepting applications for the Nancy Jaynes Memorial Scholarship. The scholarship of up to $2,500 for college or post-secondary technical schooling is awarded to an Indiana High School Senior(s) whose parent is battling breast cancer or who has lost a parent to breast cancer.
