The title of a School Board Scholar is awarded to students who earn an “A” or an “A+” in every class for the duration of the school year.

Mt. Vernon Community School Corporation is proud to announce that Mt. Vernon High School (MVHS) has been ranked one of U.S. News & World Report’s “Best High Schools” for 2024.

Many students from the senior class of 2024 were recognized for their outstanding achievements at Senior Honor Night, which was sponsored by the Mt. Vernon Education Foundation.
