Our Mission
The Mt. Vernon High School Counseling Department provides a system of comprehensive and collaborative support for all students and families in order to facilitate and advocate for personal growth, social and emotional well-being, responsibility, academic achievement, and preparation for college and career readiness. As professional school counselors, our goal is to equip students with tools to become life-long learners, responsible citizens, and productive members in a diverse society.
